On July 18th, 2026 at the Curragh, Johanna Walsh (Ire.) took the €500,000 Group 1 Irish Oaks in stylish fashion airing by a good four lengths. She is her sire Sea The Star’s third Irish Oaks winner.
As her x-ray pedigree illustrates, Sea the Stars, is a half-brother to the great fellow Epsom Derby winner, Galileo – and Johanna Walsh is out of a Galileo-line mare.
As such, the key feature within our subject’s pedigree is the 2X5 duplication of the remarkable Arc winning matriarch Urban Sea.
